WIP Wednesday – baby whale

Happy Wednesday!

I have a confession to make, I am a bit late on my Christmas presents. Yep, you read that right, Christmas presents, at the end of January! As you may remember, I moved in October, so I haven’t actually seen some of my friends since then. I do have a trip to Queensland planned in the next couple of weeks though, and I really wanted to make cool presents for my friends.

I’ve actually had this project saved in my Ravelry queue for a while, and my friend loves marine animals so I thought this would be perfect!

How cute is it already? The pattern is the Baby Humpback Whale from 1dogwoof. And it’s free! Can’t wait to finish this guy, he will just be the best huggable amigurumi πŸ‹

Have you decided to start a project you’ve had on your list for a while recently?

    • Haha I feel you I also have a pile on wips on my couch (the corner of shame!) but I need to get that done! I worked more on it yesterday and it’s so cute!

It already looks like it’ll be fab! Can’t wait to see it finished. I’m serially terrible at getting presents to people on time too!

  6. That is an adorable whale. πŸ™‚ I love Orcas. We dont see them much on our coastline, but we see lots of others. Your friend will be very happy.

    • Thanks Joey! I really love orcas too, they are such interesting animals! I’ve never seen an orca but I’ve seen so many humpbacks when they migrate up and down the east Australian coast 😊

      • I must be amazing to see the whales. I live a bit away from the coast (two hours flying) and I only get to see the humpbacks if I am on vacation at the time they visit. πŸ™‚ They are such stunning creatures.
