FO – Joyful world June

Hello lovely readers!

I have finished the month of June of my Joyful world calendar from the Snowflower Diaries last week and I only got around to take pictures today so I thought I would share with you.

Isn’t it so cute? I also though I would take a picture of the whole thing so far. As you can see I’ve already stitched some of the next months’ headings as I find it helps to know where to add the stitching (as I don’t have a border around each month and it can get confusing).

I’m now officially half way through and I’m really looking forward to stitching more of it! I’ll be back tomorrow with my 18 for 2018 post and I’m catching on my blog reading as I’m finally back home! yay! See you tomorrow!

Joyful world – March finished

Hello lovelies!

I have completed March for the joyful world calendar from the Snowflower Diaries. Yay!

Again the design is slightly changed as I have all my months enclosed in the one border rather than having an individual border for each month. 

I’m putting this on hold until next year as I have Christmas presents to focus on for now 🙂

Joyful World WIP – Snowflower diaries

Hello readers!

I have progressed quite a lot with my joyful world calendar. I am currently stitching March and I think it will be finished by the end of the month. 

The whole thing so far. 

And a close up of March. 

I’ve also had some ideas for quick crafty Christmas presents, so I’ll try them out and let you know about it in the near future 🙂

A quick update tonight on the joyful world SAL from the snowflower diaries. 

I’ve started March and continued the side border 🙂

Hopefully I get a bit more done next week so that I can stay on track. The design is super cute too as always so it should keep me motivated 🙂

Snowflower diaries update

I’ve done most of it, I just need to finish this leaf I’m working on (right side) and add the two adorable geese. Then, I’ll be up to March!

Hello readers 🙂

I have spent a great weekend tutoring on Stradbroke island, in Moreton Bay. We had such a great weather I felt really blessed. We even saw some whales!

On the downside, I didn’t get as much craft done as I wanted but I still managed to finish January in my Snowflower Diaries calendar so I won’t complain 🙂

February progress

Hello lovely readers!

I’ve made some small progress on the snowflower diaries calendar. I’ve finished the top border and I’ve finished writing February. I decided to start some of the flowers, doing all the border first was a good idea but the brown get a bit boring, and how pretty are those blue flowers? 🙂

Also I wanted to share with you an awesome doughnut I had last week. 

It’s a pokeball! It was pretty good but I still prefer the ones filled completely with Nutella 🙂 yum!

Snowflower diaries calendar

Hello readers!

I’ve made some decent progress with my snowflower diaries calendar. Last time I had just finished the crow for January. 

Before

Since, I’ve added the fox (he is super cute) and I’ve started the writing for February. I think I’ll continue with the brown for a bit, trying to get as much border and writing as I can before doing the fun part: the cute designs. 

After

My plan is to have 3 wide by 4 high, so that everything fits into my aida 🙂
