I hope you’ve all had a great week! I have been to a quilt show last week and I wanted to share my favourite ones with you. The show was hosted at the Warratina Lavender farm, and they seem to be hosting quite a few craft exhibitions, which is great because they are only 20 min away from my house!
I just loved all the colours and how cool is that pokemon one? 😄 my favourite was actually the octopus garden one, on the right of the middle row. The appliqué work on it was so amazing! I’m looking forward to checking out more shows in the area, and maybe participate next year.

Emma's Craft Projects 
I’ve only done it a couple of times. Last time, I put one in with no expectations at all, and was stunned to come back after the judging to find a Best In Show ribbon on it…. I doubt that will ever happen again!

It was a quilt with a load of work in it, so I think the result reflected that – it was all hand made. I probably wouldn’t do something like that again in a hurry!

What a fun quilt show! The appliqué garden does look amazing, and I totally would have licked that fun Pokémon quilt for you:). I have been in several quilt shows, but I always check to see if they are going to be judged first. I don’t enter if they are judged. I figure every quilt there is a winner. I like to see them all and know that each one is a work of art made with time, talent, inspiration, and love❤️❤️❤️

It really was fun! and that’s true, all the quilts were so beautiful and had so much love put into them, you could definitely see it ❤️

Great Pictures Emma, aren’t these shows inspiring? I am going tomorrow, I think, to the big one here, and I can’t wait. I have only done the show at the County Fair, and that’s more for fun. The competition is very stiff, and I am only doing it to participate, so it stays fun!

Absolutely stunning. I once attended a show and loved it. The quilts on show were just amazing. Even more so since I do not quilt nor sew myself, unless its mainly a bit of hand stitching.

I totally feel you, as I’m a beginner in quilting I think all the quilts are just so amazing. It was very good, I ended up staying a little while chatting with the ladies at the front door too, they were so nice 😊
