Happy Monday lovely people ❤️
I hope you all had a fab weekend, we came back from our trip down to Melbourne and today was back to work. I have been trying to catch up with all of your wonderful blogs but I have to say that today was really busy so hopefully I will get more time during the week to do this 😊
I don’t know if it’s because the weather has been so much colder or because I’ve been trying to be a bit more active on Instagram, but I’m just feeling so inspired right now, I just want to make all the things!
I’ve been working quite a lot on my virus shawl over my mini holidays and I have made it to the second skein of Holst Garn Coast. Yay!
This colour is called Marlin and I just love it! because the shawl is getting so much bigger, I think I’ll only be able to get two or three more pattern repeats with this colour, and then I still have my third blue to add.
I have also recently stumbled on the Blurre shawl from Addydae Designs. I LOVE it! It’s just so clever how the colours blend into each other to form this really cool effect. I had to make it! I’m using some Schoppel yarn I bought in Amsterdam last year and the leftovers from my socks for this. This is where I’m at so far and I think it looks like a sunset, so pretty! 😍
If you want to make your own Blurre, Deanne (the designer) is hosting a CAL on her Ravelry that will run until the 30th of June, so you still have time to join if you want to 🙂
That’s it for me for today, I wish you all a great week and I’ll be back on Wednesday with some sock WIP!
your shawl is looking lovely

Thanks Katie 🙂 I really love them both but I’ll definitely finish the Blurre before the virus, it just works up way faster 🙂

Lol. And it was a good one. My bf doesn’t think I’m that funny either. He says I have my moments but I think I’m hilarious.

I love going into specialised yarn shops. Unfortunately or maybe fortunately I don’t have too many around my part of Brisbane.

If you ever come to the south west side, go to Yarn Glorious Yarn, it’s right next to Indooroopilly and they have all the Holst Garn colours! So pretty!

The yarn for both of your projects are beautiful:). Marlin is the perfect name for the steel blue one.
