I’ve been working on a new cross stitch project, a werewolf howling to the moon. This is it so far, I’m still debating of whether or not adding the quote from the title to it.
For the finish I think I’ll just put it in a smaller hook and hang it on the wall 🙂
I added to my painting with a shiny umbreon but, even though he is cute, I think the painting looks empty, so the rest of the eevylutions will probably be joining him!
I’ve been extra lazy with my granny squares so I’ll have to catch up if I want to finish my blanket before the end of the month.
This is my latest square
P.S. If you’re interested, my Pinterest board for the granny squares I will make is here
I was pretty sick yesterday, which means I stayed at home and had the day crafting! The only issue is that I was too tired to focus on cross stitching so I actually only finished the 18th letter now!
R is for Relicanth! Probably one of my favourite Pokemon, I would always have him on my team if I could! I really like how he turned up 🙂
And with him the 3rd row is finished!
I also baked some Japanese rice cakes (daifuku) and I finally achieved the perfect consistency. Just the right amount of chewy and not sticky. Event got compliments from my Japanese colleague, although she said I managed to bring a French twist to them (not sure how but I’ll take the compliments!) oh and the inside is a dark chocolate truffle! Yum yum!
I wish you all a terrific weekend!
Q is for quilava!
I just think he is really cute! What animal do you reckon he is? I’m thinking a ferret!
Have a great weekend!
Hi guys! I’m a bit late but I’d like to wish you all a happy Valentine’s Day!
I’ve had a very fun day at the Gold Coast over the weekend, they had sand sculptures of Dreamworks characters and it was pretty sweet!
There really were some amazing artists out there, and I’m not quite sure which was my favourite! Probably the penguins of Madagascar!
I also got promoted to Pokemon master over the weekend 🙂
And I have finally finished one of my very long due wips, a lace doily from one of my grandma’s old crochet book.
And it’s perfect for my scented candles!
Blocking was super important, it gave my doily it’s nice shape 🙂
I hope you guys had a great weekend!
Today on the Poké-alphabet, I present to you one of the most iconic Pokemon ever. The one that, after 17 seasons of travelling with Ash, still hasn’t reached his full potential! You’ve guessed it, this week’s Pokemon is none other than Pikachu!
Have a great weekend pokefans!
I’ve made it! Worked late tonight on it but I’ve finally caught up with the poke-alphabet! Week 15, 15 Pokemon!
I am soooo close from catching up! One last little effort!
M is for Magmar
N is for Nidoqueen
Happy Friday lovely people!
I have almost caught up with my Pokemon! I have currently finished 12 of them out of the 13 weeks! I think I’ll catch up by next week with some luck.
Just as a recap:
A is for Alakazam
B is for Bulbasaur
C is for Charmander
D is for Dratini
E is for Espeon
F is for Fennekin
G is for Gengar
H is for Heracross
I is for Inkay
J is for Joltik
K is for Kangaskhan
L is for Lapras
We are going cake tasting for our wedding tomorrow so wish us luck on finding the right cake 😊
This week has been so full-on but I am glad to say that I have made some good progress.
First on is my poke-alphabet, I’ve finished I and J and I’ve stitched the outline for K.
J is for Joltik
I is for Inkay
the poke-alphabet so far
I have also been following the lovely Hélène’s SAL on her website (which you can find here
– btw it’s mostly in French!). I can’t show you January yet (release for the first 3 steps is tomorrow) but I can show you the very cute snow cone from December.
I turned him into a perfumed pillow (with cloves inside). It was my first try ever at a pillow and I think it turned out good.
What have you guys been up to this week?
I can’t believe I have started this project 3 months ago already (11 weeks without counting Christmas)! I feel like I’ve been very slack with it but I guess it’s just because it is quite large and I have plenty going on at the same time. I have finished Gengar and Heracross and I’ve stitched the outlines of Inkay and Joltik.
Maybe I will manage to catch up in the next few weeks?
In the mean time I wish you all a great weekend and happy crafting!
