Some much needed organisation

Today has been all about getting organised. There are some days like that when I feel like everything need to get tidy or I can’t get anything done. First up was continuing my crochet hook case.

Only got 4 compartment so far but what I love about this pattern is that you can add as many as your like/need (in my case I’ll have to hook a lot more!)

Then I started on another basket to store my ever growing stash.

And last but not least (and not crochet related) , I started transferring and sorting all my Pokemon in my Omega Ruby version. This one will take a while!

Have a great end of the week πŸ˜‰

Bullet journal and project update

Hi guys!

I’m pretty excited, I’ve finally reached the half way point for my avatar afghan!

My goal is to finish it by the end of the month. Talking about goals, I just realise that I didn’t post a goal update for February and I didn’t show you my bullet journal and how it has grown!

I’ve resumed my online coding course and made a handy  guide to coding in processing J.
I doodled a mandala that still needs colouring.

I have a new goals list for February, including to list more cross stitch patterns in my new etsy shop! (It’s pretty bare at the moment but you can still check it out here – opening discount will be on soon ^^)

And I’ve ticked off movies on my “to watch” list πŸ™‚
Have you guys updated your goals list for this month?

Organisation is key!

Is it just me, or the beginning of the year always makes you want to be more organised?

With such a big year coming up (wedding to prepare, Europe trip, hopefully a few more papers published) I felt like I needed extra help to get organised. I came accross the bullet journal concept. I thought I should give it a try. I had this cool game of thrones journal that I thought would be great for the job.
I really love that I can set up long term monthly goals but also more precise and reachable daily goals. I’ve also made a colour calendar, with a few things I want to work on everyday (like not biting my nails or practicing my Italian) it’s so nice to be able to visualise goals and it’s very satisfactory to draw a little cross when I’ve reached a goal (as small as it may be).

I have also been (once again) trying to de clutter my drawers (I own too many clothes it’s just ridiculous). Because some were not even wearable (mostly holes) I thought that instead of throwing them away I would do something creative and so I turned them into tshit yarn. Only a few more to go!

That’s it for today!

Hope you’re all having a great week πŸ™‚
