Hello everyone!
Needless to say I have been shocking in the last months at blogging. September is always such a big month for us, between birthdays, the semester being in full swing (which lots of marking and long teaching days) and on top of all that I also had computer issues (my screen went completely dead and I had to have it replaced).
I also haven’t progressed very much on my quilt but I did some hand stitching that I still wanted to share with you. I have thought about making a quiet book for Clark for the longest time and I’ve started on a few pages. I would like to make one for each letter (eventually!). I have no order that I am going to follow, here are the first few that I have made.
Fingers crossed I don’t miss next instalment of the quilt along!
This Hand Quilt Along is an opportunity for hand quilters and piecers to share and motivate one another. We post every three weeks, to show our progress and encourage one another. If you have a hand quilting project and would like to join our group contact Kathy at the link below.

The quiet book is a great project and the pages you’ve done are adorable! Do you read Tracy’s blog (the Tracy who is taking part in the HQAL)? She recently did a quiet book, too–https://wordpress.com/read/blogs/109626626/posts/7794

Yes I’ve seen hers on instagram (I’ve been really bad at reading blogs lately). Her grandkids are so lucky to have an amazing grandma like her 🥰

You know me, I had to go with sea creatures! I will do other types of pages too, but I had to have a whale 😊

Thank you very much Sharon 😊 I agree that it will be so good when he can work his way through the pages. At the moment he is just trying to eat them, but that’s okay as well 😅
