Hand Quilt Along – 18/08/19

Hello everyone!

I almost forgot but I didn’t! Here is my update on my english paper piecing and I have some progress yet again. It’s a bit hard to tell but I’ve added a lot on the sides so that most of the width is done.

I actually have been crafting a lot more recently too, I’m slowly but surely getting my crojo back and it sure feels good! I’ve been a lot more active on Instagram in the last few weeks and I’m planning on doing a big blog post soon with all my recent finishes.

I hope you’ve all been wonderful, and until next time!

This Hand Quilt Along is an opportunity for hand quilters and piecers to share and motivate one another. We post every three weeks, to show our progress and encourage one another.  If you have a hand quilting project and would like to join our group contact Kathy at the link below.

  1. Hello Emma!!! I’m so glad you are getting your crojo back! There have definitely more important things on your plate! I have missed you though, I am excited to see your update post. This one is looking good. Quilting around all of those little pieces is tricky. You go girl!!❤️❤️❤️

It’s looking so soft and huggable! Crojo…I love it! Over here our family uses Mojo. Glad you’ve got that crojo back! 😀

    • I love that term! It’s actually more widespread than you would think in the crochet community! I’ve actually really been enjoying being under it while I work on it, it’s still so cold here!

    • Yes, I think the first year was definitely a big adjustment, especially with finding work as well after the PhD, it’s been a big lifestyle change! But I’m settling back in and I’m so happy to be able to crochet and knit again!

  5. Great progress- you’ve got more patience than me with all those little hexagons!

    • It is so close to being finished but life has really gotten in the way! One last big session on it should do the trick though, and I actually will need it for clark soon so I’d really like to finish it!
