Happy Saturday everyone!
I hope you’ve had a great week, here I’ve had lots of work helping my husband with his experiments. There was a lot to do but we make a pretty good team so we only have a little bit to finish on Monday. We’ve been enjoying our rainy Saturday at the hobby shop and I have finished painting two units of my miniatures. I’m pretty excited as it means that I’m progressing nicely on my 18 for 2018 goals!
The two units I’ve finished are orks, which in the lore of the game are meant to be growing like fungus over the galaxy. They love fighting and will only follow the strongest ork, even it that means fighting between themselves before they can actually fight with anyone else! I’ve painted a unit of nobz, which are big experienced warriors, and a warboss, which is even bigger and their leader.
I’ve had a lot of fun painting those and I’ve also recently been working on a third ork unit, which I will share hopefully next week. It’s been a nice break from my RBTL shawl knitting, as I’ve hit a bit of a slow patch with it. I really want to get it off my needles though, so I’ll work hard to finish it asap!
lol you’re into Warhammer too?
My lads left home and I’ve got loads of boxes of Warhammer figurines stashed away in the attic ^^

Hihi thatβs too funny! Hubby is really really into it (like following blogs about it and watching podcasts) so weβve been going to the warhammer shop almost every weekend this year, now that we live closer to one. Itβs good cause it got me back into the swing of it π itβs actually super relaxing to paint the miniatures

I don’t know anything about Warhammer but it looks like you’re having lots of fun with it. Keep going on the shawl. I’m knitting like crazy on my aran blanket at the moment because it must be finished before the weather warms up or I won’t be able to sit under it while knitting. It’s actually quite warm today so I’d better get a move on!

Your blanket will look amazing! I hope to get more done on that shawl once it’s a bit cooler, we are getting towards winter in Australia so hopefully that will help motivate me π

They definitely have a lot of details, but they are well worth the many hours I spend on them once I can see them all together on the battlefield ^^
