Happy Wednesday!
I have to say I have been super slow at knitting my Read Between the Lines shawl so I haven’t got any pictures to share but I have finished my Campfire cardigan yesterday, just in time for tomorrow’s deadline to enter the #grannyCAL18 hosted by Rosina of Zeens and Roger. I’m totally in love with it and as usual when I finish something I’ve been wearing it around the house a lot (read I haven’t taken it off) since yesterday. You will notice they are quite a few differences with the original pattern, I decided not to make a hood and to keep the sleeves at 3/4 length.
I had lots of fun today doing a little photoshoot in my kitchen. I find photos are always a bit challenging to find the right pose (I ended up taking waaaay more pictures that those 2) but well worth it 🙂
In other news, I’ve been participating in March Meet the Maker over on Instagram, you can have a look at the pictures I posted on the right panel of my blog even if you’re not on IG, I’ve been talking a bit more about my design process and what I normally do of my days if you’re interested 🙂
Looks good! Almost enough to make me want to start crocheting (almost, but not quite), but it’s a bit too warm here for much woolly cardigan wearing, sadly.

I have to say that I was so happy to move to Melbourne for that 😀 more wooly things for me!

Excellent cardigan! I can see why you don’t want to take it off:)

Thanks 🙂 unfortunately it got warmer at the end of the week so I had to take it off for a bit. I’m sure it will get back to cooler weather soon though!

That turned out just great, Emma! I had never thought of Granny squares in a cardigan, but it really works!

I absolutely love it, the colours really work well together. I think the 3/4 sleeves are perfect, specially for our weather down in the southern hemisphere, it will make for lovely wearing lots during the year. And perfect for wearing over a little something with longer sleeves even.
🙂 Now I know I am not the only one that takes dozens of photos, just to use one or two. Well done on the ones you settled on, the show your work wonderfully.

Thanks Joey, that was my idea to be able to wear it with longer sleeves below in winter. It’s good to know it’s not just me for the pictures!

Thanks a lot 😊 it’s definitely very nice, the merino in the yarn mix is great to keep it warm and soft
