Hand Quilt Along – 26/11/17

Happy Sunday!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, I know I sure did!
This is our second HQAL, and I’m super excited to show you my progress. It’s been modest, but still, I did get some sewing done so it’s a win!
We have some new people joining us this month, so make sure you are giving them some love by visiting their posts! I am in Australia so I’m probably the first one (or one of the firsts) to post, so keep that in mind too ๐Ÿ˜Š
Without further ado, here is my progress, with a picture from last time as well!

That’s definite progress in my book! I hope you all have a great week!

This Hand Quilt Along is an opportunity for hand quilters and piecers to share and motivate one another. We post every three weeks, to show our progress and encourage one another.ย  If you have a hand quilting project and would like to join our group contact Kathy at the link below.
Here are the others participating in this HQAL, please go check their posts!

  2. What a great take along or evening project. I first tried EPP last year, and it was so relaxing. Great progress! Do you have any idea how large you want to go with this, or are you just stitching until you know you are finished?

    • It is very relaxing! I have decided on a baby quilt size, probably around 0.75 x 1 meters (around 30″x40″) because I think I might hand quilt it as well ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Yes, I’ve been looking for fat quarters that I like in pinks ๐Ÿ™‚ I seem to be finding way more blues I like than pinks, so I jumped on the occasion when I saw this fabric!

    • Thanks Maddie ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s been really great to get motivated by other hand sewers too! and it forces me to work on something different from crochet! I seem to be in a bit of crochet streak at the moment ๐Ÿ˜…

Emma, knowing how long EPP takes, I commend you for making so much progress! That’s a really pretty piece you are making. One’s eyes can get lost in there!
