LOTR CAL – Gandalf’s pipe square

Happy Monday lovely readers!

It has been a while but I have finally finished square 9 of my LOTR CAL! I have been seriously distracted by other projects but I hope that I can get back in the groove and finally get done with this huge blanket!

It’s a very short one today because I’m actually at a conference all week and so I won’t have much time for blogging. I do hope you all have a great week and I’ll try to be back on Wednesday with some plane knitting updates πŸ™‚

This is so awesome! Incorporating motifs of pop culture into your knitting.

    • Thanks Claire! It’s been very good so far although I’ve been drinking way more than usual with all the socialising (I don’t normally drink very much).

  5. Good for you, another one down!

I have so loved seeing your progress on this! I just started my blanket in January. I got stuck on the center square. 😜 I just finished up my first small square (tree of Gondor). I’m getting ready to work on another small square shortly. I wasn’t sure about the bobbles and tried doing a c2c but bobbles are really amazing and beautiful. I love it! Thanks for all your creative hard work on the graphs!

    • Thanks so much Rachel for this lovely comment! I also got stuck on the centre square for a while πŸ˜‚ I really need to finish the 4 squares I have left, I just can’t seem to stick with one project and had to start 15 others in the mean time πŸ˜… I would love to see your squares, if you have time it would be lovely if you could send me an email with your pictures or tag me on instagram 😊 my email is emmazocco@gmail.com and my Insta is @emmacraftsdesign 😘 no pressure though
