Ripple blanket progress update

Hello everyone! 

Just a quick post today, I’ve only been working on my ripple blanket lately so not much else to show. I’ve finished 3 skeins and I have 5 more to go and finish before next Monday! This will be a challenge but I think it’s feasible! I was afraid it wouldn’t be big enough but now I think it will be the perfect size. 


I’m loving the colour changes and it’s nice and warm as I work on it.  

I’ve also been desperately looking for a shark appliqué that I like but couldn’t find anything so I will have to wing it. Maybe I’ll write a free pattern for it too 🙂 I’m very excited with how this is coming along and I can’t wait to get started on a few nice sea creatures.

    It looks fabulous Emma and I can’t wait to see it with the sea creatures attached! I too have been working on my ripple blanket- they are fun projects but do take time!! 🙂 🙂

      Thanks so much Eleonora! I’ve seen your blanket, it looks amazing 😍 and it’s been on quite the trip too! I’m hoping the appliqués I chose don’t look too crowded, I have a propension to just add too much 😂

    I made the attic24 Ripple blanket (I got the pack as a gift). I love the finished blanket but very honestly, I was SOooOo glad when I’d done the last row. It felt in the end VERY repetitive. Im so keen to see the finished blanket 😊 – my advice:- especially as you’re making a sea scape, when you hit those bored stages – put on ‘finding Nemo’ and sing along with Dory… 🎶keep on swimming 🎵
